Take a secret role

Town and Mafia roles are privately assigned. Detectives, Doctors, Witnesses, Forensics, Trackers, Coroners, Framers, Cleaners and Murderers all change what the night can reveal.

Move after dark

Every living suspect secretly chooses a room. Mafia chooses a victim while special roles protect, watch, track, frame, clean or investigate.

Read the scene

A successful murder creates clues from fictional match traits. Evidence narrows suspects without becoming a guaranteed answer—and planted evidence can lie.

Argue. Accuse. Vote.

Compare alibis in voice or text, then cast a private vote. Ties eliminate nobody. Town wins by exposing every Mafia member; Mafia wins at parity.

Voice mode

Use an existing voice channel or let Alibi create a temporary case room. Players are muted during private phases and opened for live discussion; dead players stay silent. A curated, licensed mystery soundtrack shifts with each phase and can be disabled by the host.

Text mode

Alibi creates a dedicated case channel. Servers can run multiple text cases at once; living players can speak during discussion and each case channel locks independently during secret-action and voting phases.
